Kevin Peachment – Managing Director
Kevin succeeded Tony Peachment, the founder of A R Peachment, as Managing Director. He has full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business and is directly involved in commercial decisions and maintains the key customer account relationships. Kevin has a passion for continuous improvement of service to customers and sourcing quality products and works closely with Andrew Peachment in ensuring technical excellence and innovation in marine applications.
Kevin joined the business at 16 and has a thorough understanding of all aspects of the organisation and the marine sector and, early on, developed an interest in the commercial aspects of business. He has continued his professional management development through a number of business courses.
Andrew Peachment – Technical Director
Andrew Peachment has full responsibility for the day-to-day technical and innovation aspects of the business and maintains strong, technical relationships with Nanni Diesel in developing new products and applications. Andrew has also developed a range of innovative ARP proprietary hydraulic products and is continuously developing new marine products. Additionally, Andrew works closely with boat-builders on the design of propulsion and electrical control solutions.
Andrew joined the business at 16 and has a thorough understanding of all aspects of the organisation and the marine sector and, early on, focused his talents on the technical side of the business.
Brian Dempsey – Technical Sales Manager
Brian is responsible of the day-to-day technical support for marine engine sales and installation programmes. He also provides technical support to our Dealer Network. Brian is an invaluable member of the team with a wealth of knowledge across most aspects of the marine business.
Brian has had a long association with A R Peachment, spending six years with the business in the early part of his career before going out on his own gaining extensive experience both in the UK and internationally, and carrying out over 300 installations. He re-joined the business in 2005.
Daniel Austin – Engineer
Daniel joined our technical team in Dec 2016 and brings a wealth of engineering and electrical knowledge. He has previous experience of maintaining large charter fleets, complete installations of engines and electrical systems with prestigious boatbuilders and has electronic expertise gained from with the commercial security sector.
Daniel works across various areas of our engineering side – installations , service , electrical fault finding ,engine and hydraulic assembly.
Lee Peachment- Engineer
Lee is following in his Father Andrew’s engineering footsteps and is primarily workshop based, assembling Nanni engines to the specification of our customers. He also builds the hydraulic components used within our propulsion systems and carries out service work for customers off site.
Anthony Adams – Marine Equipment Sales
Anthony has a vital role in the business answering customer queries, taking and processing orders and ensuring products are delivered on time. He has additional responsibilities in stock control and various aspects of financial controls as well as supporting trade shows and exhibitions. He also manages any Health & Safety matters for the company.
Anthony has been with the business for twenty years having enjoyed a varied career in Stores and Warehousing.
Steven Aldridge – Engine & Marine Equipment Sales
Steven has several roles with A R Peachment. Having started his career serving on the trade counter, this experience is proving invaluable now that he has taken on a more active sales role for both engines and general marine equipment, and part of the sales team at Boat Shows and Exhibitions.
Steve joined A R Peachment in 2004 having had a variety of jobs in the hospitality and leisure sectors.
David Aris – Trade Counter
David joined A R Peachment in 1999 as a delivery driver gaining experience of the customers and the marine sector. He continues to work on the trade counter ensuring quality customer service as well as still taking orders, making local deliveries and collections.
David spent a short period as a trainee mechanic after leaving school and joining A R Peachment early on in his career.
Damon Watker – Stores Manager
Damon’s experience within his field adds value within A R Peachment, having started his marine career in 1988 in the role of Stores Manger then being promoted to Purchasing Manager in 2001 with a local boat building company. He is responsible for the day to day running of the stores, checking goods in for quality and quantity, all aspects of stock control and sage management.He also works very closely with our sales team answering calls and serving trade and private personnel on our busy sales counter . he also supports our sales team at boat shows thoughout the year .
Damon joined A R Peachment in December 2016 as a valued team member with over 28 years marine experience.
Alastair Taylor – Marine Equipment Buyer
Alastair has responsibility for the procurement and purchasing of general marine equipment. He liaises on a daily basis with key suppliers and has a vital role in ensuring continuity of supply and quality customer service. He additionally supports the Financial Controller in various aspects of stock and accounting queries.
Alastair joined A R Peachment in 2016 having had a varied career in accounts, purchasing and management roles in the Telecoms sector for over 20 years.
James Sharpe – Financial Controller
James has the lead role in managing and controlling the financial aspects of the business and providing key management information for the Board and Managers. He is also directly involved in ensuring that stock is properly controlled and managed.
James joined A R Peachment following a varied career in accountancy with roles in both commercial environments and accountancy practices and is perfectly suited to the challenging and varied nature of the marine sector.
Stephen Dye – Marine Engineer & Electrician
Stephen has two roles within A R Peachment; he manages the marine electrical department that includes manufacturing and installing dash panels and liasing with customers on a range of electrical problems. He also assists on the hydraulic equipment side of the business including manufacturing, installation and problem solving for customers.
Julian Ward – Marine Equipment Buyer
Working in a part-time capacity, alongside Gerald, Julian has responsibility for the procurement and purchasing of general marine equipment. He liaises on a daily basis with key suppliers and is a vital role in ensuring continuity of supply and quality customer service. He additionally supports the Financial Controller in various aspects of sales and accounting queries.
Julian joined A R Peachment in 2000 having had a varied career in accounts and purchasing roles in the marine sector for over 35 years and a period of service in the British Armed Forces.
